The Unnamed Mechanic, also referred to as █████ or simply "KR" by his clients, is an unofficial fixture of SHIRE's maintenance division. No onboarding records have ever been found and no listed identity was found in the thousands of databases in the corporation's possession. Some workers who found him tinkering with Hiyahati's backup Helion after a crash on Rod Canyon (which can be found here) found all of the problems initially reported directly after the Helion was taken in for pre-use maintenance completely removed, and even some performance issues being mitigated, surprisingly within the span of not even an hour.*

█████, was in fact so quick with his work that the workers couldn't even get a good picture of him before he scurried away by maneuvering into a ventilation shaft. The only detail that was able to be made out was his presumed-to-be skin color, and the visor obscuring his face. Despite his uninvited presence, his assistance was generally considered very appreciated, although he did not wish for a job at SHIRE, due to him having his own place of work at the heart of Acwai Waterbase ██.

Despite him being a very fast and efficient person when it comes to engineering and fixing issues such as performance or even damage, nobody knows how he works. Some clients have even reported repairs taking not even 15 minutes before they were done, which is widely considered one of the fastest medium-class repairs done by a humanoid in the history of Hydrus.*

According to the Junior Technician, M. Coz, "Some of the things he's fixed were things I didn't even know were broken yet."

Those attempting to speak to █████ outside his workplace are usually met with silence or curt gestures. However, some say he can be heard talking to himself quietly, with a robotic kind of filter over his voice, masking █████'s true identity further.

█████'s motives at this time are unknown. In the event you consult him for mechanical repairs, follow this conduct:

• Do not follow █████ unless prompted to.

• Do not haggle with █████. Reports have stated attempting to haggle will result in him increasing the price of his services.

• Do not investigate █████ or attempt to interview him. █████ is documented to not take kindly to investigations and interviews.

• Do not attempt to peer into █████'s workplace under any circumstances. Some cases have resulted in customer's fingers being flattened as a result of the sheer force of █████ closing his workplace door.

• Do not barter with █████.
