Properties
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS | PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Myrl is a terrestrial planet, and the fourth planet in the Hydrus planetary system. It's bright pink appearance is from the vast amounts of rhodonine, which can be found in it's oceans and atmosphere. Myrl's surface is made up of a deep purple sandstone-like rock - known as magenstone - with traces and (rarely) growths of rhodonite. Despite the naming similarities, rhodonine and rhodonite are completely unrelated to each-other.
Temperature on the planet is stable, with an average surface temperature of 7°C.
Myrl is geologically active, with occasional tectonic movement. Gravity on the planet is weak, about half the gravity one would experience on Terra. It's atmosphere is composed primarily of argon, methane, and rhodonine.
ORBITAL CHARACTERISTICS | ORBITAL CHARACTERISTICS
The planet rests outside Hydra's habitable zone. This orbit lasts approximately 1098 days.
No natural satellites orbit Myrl.
