Properties
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS | PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Acwai is a hycean planet, and the third planet in the Hydrus planetary system. Due to it's hycean nature, it is one of two planets in the Hydrus system to harbor native lifeforms - the other being Hydrus II (Terra). Acwai's surface is completely covered in an ocean of water with variable depths - from a few hundred metres at it's shallowest, to hundreds of kilometers at its deepest.
Temperature on the planet is stable, with an average surface temperature of 12° C.
Acwai is geologically active, with very frequent tectonic movement. Gravity on the planet is strong, about 1.6 times the gravity one would experience on Terra. It's atmosphere is composed primarily of hydrogen and helium.
ORBITAL CHARACTERISTICS | ORBITAL CHARACTERISTICS
The planet rests near the outer edge of Hydra's habitable zone, hot enough for liquid water to exist on its surface. This orbit lasts approximately 630 days.
No natural satellites orbit Acwai.
