Concealment
Lambda has remained a subject of controversy since its 're-founding'. While the company's products are recognized for their exceptional quality and cutting-edge design, they are sold at prices that would incur losses for most other manufacturers. This aggressive pricing strategy has allowed Lambda to consistently triumph over competitors in nearly every contract it pursues.
This pattern was especially evident during the company’s re-formative years, when Lambda repeatedly secured major contracts from nearly all United Nations Interplanetary Assembly (UNIA) member states; often leaving rival manufacturers with little opportunities. Tensions escalated to such a degree that some competitors allegedly resorted to contracting assassins to eliminate Lambda’s then-president, Heron Redd. Though the initial attempts failed, Redd was ultimately assassinated during a business trip to Terra. This was the 4th attempt on her life.
Seeking to prevent another incident like this from happening again, the company restructured its executive operations and adopted a strict policy of anonymity for all leadership roles, making targeted attacks significantly more difficult. Under this system, administrative personnel are referred to as “Smith”, board members as “Public”, and the president, whose identity remains entirely undisclosed, is designated by the pseudonym “Doe.”
