During the war, Erios would remain neutral. It's distance and low population made it a very unlikely target for military engagement. However, the planet would become a sanctuary for fleeing refugees, with makeshift colonies forming in it's research bases. Eventually, dedicated housing would be constructed, as the number of refugees coming into the planet began to exceed what they could manage within these research bases. By the end of the war, Erios had developed a reputation as a peaceful haven, although its infrastructure struggled to accommodate the influx of displaced civilians. So, they would get to work on constructing a dedicated colony, the city of Adept (the name being taken from the research bases).
